The start of Celebration season is a festive event. We can’t start brewing until the first fresh hops have arrived, but once they have the season is officially under way! First brewed in 1981, Celebration IPA is one of the earliest examples of an American-style IPA and one of the few hop-forward holiday beers. Famous for its intense citrus and pine aromas, Celebration is bold and intense, featuring Cascade, Centennial and Chinook hops - honouring everything we have at Sierra Nevada. Celebration Fresh Hop IPA 2024 in time for the seasonal holidays.

I have been drinking this Christmas ale since 1989 when they used to put the year on the bottle. Hadn’t had any for at least 8 years and forgot what I was missing. Lovely citrusy and pine hop flavours with a full bodied malt backbone. An excellent beer in the Fritz Maytag tradition.
The annual treat, that never disappoints.
Had this beer first about 10 years ago while I was in Massachusetts on vacation and fell in love with it then. But I must say I think it has a different flavour out of a bottle to that out of a can. Will definitely be buying more , I am a massive fan of Sierra Nevada beers.

Dry, bitter & full of C hops. Can't want anything more.
